We began working with multi-award-winning Astro Technology Group in 2016. This 40-year-old technology business provides services ranging from full IT managed services, connectivity solutions and infrastructure deployments for key clients across a broad range of sectors.
Led by their Chief Executive, Steve Hodges, Astro was embarking on a 5-year transformational project that would see the business experience significant growth. Without an in-house team to provide much-needed PR and marketing support for these growth plans, Rise was appointed to become part of the Astro team and act as their marketing department. We have been there ever since!
Our Role
Our first task was to undertake a major brand overhaul. We began with a dramatic update of the logo; this included the addition of a smart ‘snowflake’ icon that has now become an integral part of all the marketing material including the website. This was the next major project. Rise created a modern, stylish, informative and easy to navigate website. Built in WordPress, the simple CMS allows the Astro team to upload and refresh their own content should they wish, but we also update the website regularly with news items, blogs, imagery, staffing updates and completed Case Studies.
The new logo was rolled out across all Astro material and Rise prepared templates for Power Point presentations, proposals, white papers, business cards, newsletters and case studies. We work with Astro to regularly put together such case studies – writing content for them, sourcing images and liaising with their clients to get testimonials for inclusion.
Promotional merchandise and clothing were next on the list and we sourced smart printed water bottles, pens and new shirts, polo shirts and jackets for Astro staff.
We have helped all staff with their LinkedIn profiles to ensure consistency across the business. Rise also design, write and send email campaigns when required, provide monthly web statistics reports and help with event suggestions and event management. We have also worked on several award entries with Astro and are always immensely proud of their on-going success!
The list of all we do for Astro could go on and on – we really are an extension to their team and anything connected to marketing, and indeed other areas of the business, comes our way. They are an amazing company to work with and we look forward to many more years working in partnership with them to deliver full PR and marketing support.
