Keeping busy with Event Management
We’ve been busy working on a few events and wanted to share these in case any of you reading this post know of a business or charity that might want to enter, or receive further information. Event Management is our passion and we are delighted to be working on the Gravesham Business Awards, Medway Business Awards and the Kent Charity Awards.
First up is Medway Business Awards – on 19th March we are holding a launch event for the 35th Medway Business Awards. The MBAs must be one of the oldest business awards in the South-East and we are so pleased to have been event managing these awards for the past seven years. They just get better and better and the sponsors are fantastic and very supportive of our efforts. The launch event will take place on Tuesday 19th March at Historic Dockyard in Chatham. If you are a business based in Medway then do come along. Full details on how to book can be found at www.mbawards.co.uk – if you fancy trying out some ropemaking, make sure you book your place asap. The gala awards evening will be held in November at Priestfield Stadium in Gillingham. Deadline for entering is 31 July 2019.
Next is the Kent Charity Awards, which we founded five year’s ago. We have a fantastic team of sponsors who are passionate about the Third Sector and these awards wouldn’t be possible without their support. Arriva Kent has come on board as a new sponsor for 2019 and the team are incredibly supportive. KCA posters have gone up inside most of their fleet of buses and we are reaping the benefits of the extra publicity.
Deadline for entries is 2nd April 2019, so make sure if you are a charity you get your entry form in ASAP. Also if you know a volunteeer or trustee that you think needs to be recognised for their hard work, then please make sure you get their nomination in before March 31st.
Gravesham Business Awards is in its second year. Last year’s overall winner the The Panicroom has grown considerably since taking the top award and now have four panic rooms in Gravesham! They also have a mobile panic room so perfect for outdoor events and birthday parties.
There’s still plenty of time to enter the GBAs as deadline is not until end of April, but the sooner you get the entry in the sooner your profile will appear in the Gravesend Messenger newspaper. Full details on how to enter can be found on the GBA website.
