The Kent Charity Awards are open!

As event managers it has been incredibly rewarding watching the Kent Charity Awards go from strength to strength. They have not only grown to become the main charity awards in Kent, but have also gained the respect from charities and the business sector a like. Businesses are seeing the huge benefits gained from sponsoring awards and for the 2020 awards the Kent Charity Awards are delighted to have secured two new sponsors!

Our first sponsor is AMEY, one of the leading suppliers of consulting and infrastructure support services in the UK.  They are incredibly community focussed and very keen on rewarding the excellent work carried out in the Kent community.  Our second new sponsor is, Financial Advice and Services, they have offices in Folkestone and Maidstone and have a wealth of knowledge within the fiancial advice sector.

Entering the KCAs is easy and free.  Charities, both large and small from across the county can submit their entries and gain much deserved recognition for the incredible hard work they do. As in previous year’s, we are also looking for your favourite Trustee and Volunteer.  These two awards recognise the difficulties faced by charities in raising funds and delivering services and also the valuable contributions made by trustees, both are a vital asset to any charity.

If you know any charities who might be local, or nationwide but with offices in Kent, please do tell them about the Kent Charity Awards.  Also, if you have heard or work with a volunteer or trustee that goes that extra mile and you think deserve recognition, then do please do nominate them for an award too.

The Kent Charity Awards were the brainchild of Jo and Sarah of Rise Communications, who as event managers identified a need for an award scheme for the third sector.

Full details on how you can nominate someone for these two exciting categories can be found on the Kent Charity Awards website – www.kentcharityawards.com
