Another client that recycles!

We are lucky to work with many great clients and, being a PR company in Maidstone, many of them are close to home.  One such client is Medway-based Clearance Textiles, a leading manufacturer and distributor of textile products.  At a recent meeting we noticed they had a new towelling range made from the waste materials from one of their factories in Bangladesh.  We think these towels are pretty cool and want to share them with you.  Here’s a little bit more info about the recycled towel!

Recycled Towels

As a leading manufacturer of textiles they have a strong ethos of sustainability and try to reduce the amount of waste that is sent to landfill sites. One way they reduce their carbon footprint is to recycle the yarn that has been left over from the various production runs.  All the yarns are combined together and turned into  these bespoke ‘recycled towels’.

With the UK population becoming more and more environmentally friendly their sales team have seen a huge increase in the need and also enthusiasm for the recycled towel.   No two towels are ever the same and that,  with the help of their clever weaving process, these towels are becoming a trendy affordable item to the environmentally-conscious shopper.
