Rise Communications join Rochester Cathedral Business Guild

Rochester Cathedral Business Guild

We are delighted to be part of the Rochester Cathedral Business Guild steering group.  We will be working alongside its Chairman, David Ward, and other committee members to help promote the Guild to businesses across the Cathedral’s dioceses which covers West Kent and the London Boroughs of Bromley and Bexley.

As Event Managers of the Medway Business Awards and founders of the Kent Charity Awards, Rise has extensive knowledge of the county in both the business and charity sectors and we are eager to share our expertise, ethics and ideas with the Guild.  Lockdown has meant many of the live events that were planned have been postponed, but as soon as we are allowed, updated events will be posted on their current web page,  www.rochestercathedral.org/business-guild

Rochester Cathedral is England’s second oldest, having been founded in AD604 by Bishop Justus and as expected, is steeped in history.  It Is also incredibly forward-thinking and has a vibrant programme of concerts, exhibitions and activities held across the Cathedral throughout the year.  From Crazy Golf in the nave, Luke Jerram’s awe-inspiring installation “Museum of the Moon” and the thought provoking, ‘The Knife Angel’ installation; there is always something happening either physically or virtually at the Cathedral, and for all age groups.

Being part of the team supporting the Cathedral is going to be incredibly exciting for us. There are many benefits in becoming a member of the Rochester Cathedral Business Guild all of which will be announced soon.

Meanwhile, if you are reading this and would like to know more about how you can get involved with the trust, please drop us an email at team@risecommunications.co.uk
